辮子看起來只有兩束頭髮，但要用兩束頭髮綁辮子是不可能的，就算能編起來，很快就會散開。

奧祕之處就是在此：辮子看起來是兩束頭髮，其實需要第三束，雖然不是很明顯，卻使髮束緊緊編織在一起。

在婚姻中，上帝就像辮子的第三束頭髮，使丈夫與妻子緊密聯合。上帝要我們避免任何讓婚姻的純潔受污染或摻雜的東西。什麼是摻雜呢？就是把品質低劣的東西混進去。純麵粉摻雜劣質物品就成了雜麵粉。相反於性的純潔，就是性的摻雜，也就是淫亂。

A braid appears to contain only two strands of hair. But it is impossible to create a braid with only two strands. If the two could be put together at all, they would quickly unravel.

Here is the mystery: What looks like two strands requires a third. The third strand, though not immediately evident, keeps the strands tightly woven.

In a marriage, God is like the third strand in a braid, holds husband and wife together. God wants us to avoid everything by which our marriage purity is spoiled or adulterated. What does it mean to adulterate a thing? It means to mix it with inferior substances. Pure flour mixed with some inferior stuff becomes adulterated flour. The opposite of sexual purity is sexual adulteration, or adultery.
